2nd Saturday in Media

Reiki Healing Center will be open during Media's 2nd Saturday 6-9pm Stop by and say hello, see my hand woven tapestries (prints are on view at Seven Stones in Media) and receive a mini-Reiki Session.

Storm the Bastille this weekend at Media's Second Saturday! From 6 to 9 pm this Saturday July 14 (Bastille Day!), there will be 50 businesses hosting 27 visual artists, with live music by 18 groups and musicians!

Stroll the friendly streets of Media and use the Second Saturday map as your guide to find art, live music and more at participating shops, cafes, galleries and organizations! Look for art including French paintings, Eiffel Tower handbags, wildlife art, digital abstract paintings, portraits, organic pottery, toy camera photography, jewelry, live sketches, pixel art and flower paintings. The wide array of live music includes Appalachian fiddling, harp, classical, Jazz sax, folk, singer-songwriters, children's music, violin and Zydeco.

And this month, there's much more! France's Independence Day falls on Second Saturday this year. Media will celebrate the anniversaries of French and American Independence. There will be events for the whole family from 5:00 to 10:30 pm! Carriage rides - kids' crafts - meet Washington & Lafayette - Storm the Bastille - learn to tie-dye - celebrate Media's First Fair Trade Town Anniversary - Cajun Dance Lessons - Zydeco... and much more!
