This weekend is Media's Second Saturday! From 6 to 9 p.m. this Saturday November 10, there will be 49 businesses hosting 26 visual artists, with live music at 17 locations! It's a great opportunity to start your holiday shopping, while enjoying a fantastic free arts event! Thanksgiving is just around the corner....
Myra Reichel's hand woven tapestries, Vanessa Gardner's orgami globes, and other hand made items will be available for sale at the Reiki Healing center 20 South Olive Street suite 305 - building is handicapped accessible call 610-348-5698 if downstairs door is locked to get in - and while in the office you can receive a mini-Reiki Session and/or schedule an appointment for a full Reiki session for $65 or purchase either 3 or 4 gift certificates for holiday gifts for $50 each. Sign up for upcoming classes to learn to do Reiki for yourself or for other classes offered at the Reiki Healing Center while you are visiting the office. Stroll the friendly streets of Media and use the Second Saturday map as your guide to find art, live music and more at participating shops, cafes, galleries and organizations. Look for art including custom leaded glass, paper creations, pixel art, monster art, photography, paintings and jewelry. The wide array of live music includes Blues harmonica, Civil War era music for Veterans Day, Gospel, easy listening, singer-songwriters, children's music, acoustic rock, folk and pop rock. There will be puppets, a book signing with a children's author, face painting, a salsa party, and a stilt walker and juggler!!!
