Good morning dear friends and compassionate lightworkers,
I hope this email finds you all well and keeping warm!
I received an email from a fellow Reiki Practitoner who has been a hospice volunteer for 3 years. Her coordinator is looking for more volunteers for a new center that has opened in West Chester. I have included an attachment and an excerpt from Lisa's email, for your review. If this type of work speaks to you, you are more than welcome to email Lisa for further information. Her email is email@example.com
Excerpt from Lisa's email:
I've been a volunteer at Neighborhood Hospice and have done Reiki w/hospice patients for two of my three years there. As part of my program this year, my role at hospice is that of a social work intern, but being a Reiki volunteer was one of the most rewarding experiences that I've had.
Our coordinator, Janice, is looking to expand our volunteer group, especially in the complementary therapies (Reiki, massage, pet therapy, music). There are opportunities to work with both inpatient and home hospice clients. If you know of anyone who might be interested, it is a wonderful way to be of service. I've attached the notice that is beginning to go out to community groups and some area churches. If you have a group that might have potential volunteers, please feel free to pass it along. I'd also be happy to speak to anyone who would like to know more about my experience with Reiki and hospice. Feel free to pass along my contact info. firstname.lastname@example.org

Subject: another contact for hospice
Just received this email in response to my previous email. Cara's contact info is firstname.lastname@example.org
" This is the hospice I volunteer for as well. It is a wonderful organization and so rewarding. Not only do the patients love the reiki, but the caregivers are so appreciative. Usually this a very sad and trying time for families and they are so grateful for your kindness.
Janice is a wonderful person and goes to great lengths to accommodate and support the volunteers. The training is thorough and the opportunities are abundant.
Please feel free to pass along my name and number also. "
