Karuna Reiki® evolved out of Usui and Tibetan Reiki. It is used in addition to Usui Reiki during healing sessions. Karuna Reiki® will reduce physical pain, release negative energies from the past, and control bad habits. As it heals, it also fills you with a spiritual sense of peace and love.

Celebrating the Feminine: Since Mother's Day falls on May 11, the readings on 2nd Saturday will take a look at the feminine side of our nature, using all the feminine cards from the Voyager Tarot Deck. Tarot Readings at RHC 6-9pm Media's Second Saturday April

"The soul sees in pictures." Barb believes there is nothing strange, supernatural or spooky about Tarot.Tarot uses a series of symbols and images to bring meaning and aid to the questioner. We are visual creatures, our subconsious mind sees in pictures. Much of our ancient art is in the form of cave paintings, Hieroglyphics and stone monuments for example. Just as the season of spring draws us to new beginnings as in planting of crops and flowers, so does the tarot "two of cups" bring promise of new life, love and growth. Another great example is the death card ( number 13 unlucky?), some see this as a physical death which it well may be, and it could also mean a transformation of another sort such as a new career, death of an addiction or outgrown behavior. Reiki Shares and Healing Circles and Clinics and Introduction to Reiki

Reiki Shares are where those who do Reiki trade with each other. Healing Circles are where those who do Reiki for themselves also do mini-sessions for those interested in experienceing Reiki for the first time and/or cannot afford sessions can receive a session for a $5 to $20 donation. Come early - first come first served. Last Wednesday Reiki Clinic is by appointment - call for free 20 minute session or receive $20 off of a full or extended session. Second Monday Reiki Clinic is when $35 Reiki 1/2 hour Mini-sessions are offered.
Great learning experience for both giver and receiver with supervision of center's Reiki Masters.

Reiki I $250 12 hours - Learn how to palpitate aura, open chakras, do self- healing , and healing for others. Reiki I Certificate.

Reiki II $300 12-hours - Learn to draw and use 3 Reiki Symbols, more work with Chakras, and how to do Distance Healing. Reiki II Certificate.

Advanced Practice Reiki Practitioner $365 - 12 hours - For self practice, volunteering, and starting to see clients for pay. Learn to draw and use the Reiki Master Symbol, Reiki Meditations, advanced Chakra opening, experience and evaluation of full sessions procedure, Student Insurance and AP Certificate.

Reiki Master Practitioner $400 12 hours coursework and 20 hours practice. Business course for setting up your own professional practice when you are ready to start volunteering more, hosting Reiki Shares, building a client base, charging for Reiki Sessions, learning about advertising, taxes for self-employed, working with clients, doing full private sessions. Handing in 6 client notes without identification from sessions, hosting 2 Reiki Shares, participating in 2 events, and 2 Reiki Clinics mandatory are mandatory requirements. Student Insurance and Reiki Master Practitioner Certificate. When student starts charging for sessions outside of training professional insurance will need to be purchased - not included in this training.

Summer Reiki Retreat at the Reiki Healing Center in Media, PA. with Birthday Celebration for Dr. Mikao Usui

Morning of Thursday August 14^th until Evening Sunday August 17^th

There will be Reiki Shares and Meditations each day. Reiki Classes of all levels are offered. This includes: 12 hour Level I, Level II, Advanced Practice, Reiki Master-Practitioner all of which can be taken 1 full day or 3 half days with the final class a half day on Sunday. Japanese Reiki Techniques will be offered as 1 day intensives. Special meetings and opportunity to audit and/or student teach classes will be available for Reiki Master-Teachers. Also, there will be classes offered in Magnified Healing®, Alexander Technique, Metaphysics, as well as other techniques.

You may schedule private sessions with a variety of practitioners for Reiki, Karuna Reiki®, Magnified Healing®, Alexander Technique, Massage, etc. with local holistic practitioners. There will be a Celebration for Dr. Usui’s Birthday Celebration on Thursday August 14^th & Friday August 15^th followed by Reiki Meditation and Attunement Boost plus an open house with time for networking. On Saturday the 16^th there will a Magnified Healing® Celebration. We will close the retreat on Sunday afternoon with a Global Healing Meditation, Reiki Share, and dinner for participants.

Reiki Classes offered by Myra Reichel and Marian Durnell are in the style developed by the founder of Reiki Dr. Usui and his students in Japan and then brought to the West by Mrs. Takada and added to by her students and their students and includes Tibetan Symbols for Attunements. Fran Staret’s classes are more extensive including what was brought to the West and includes the original techniques practiced by Reiki’s founder Dr. Usui in the 1920’s and in Japan today. She teaches the full Japanese Reiki classes or those who have already taken Western style Reiki she offers intensives that include just the extra original Dr. Usui techniques.=
